video targeted at potential Bell
Atlantic Residential ISDN customers. The scene is set with a suburban family facing
communications overload. Pressing work-at-home and study demands have taxed the home's two
analog phone lines to the limit. The kids are fighting over on-line computer time, Mom's
twiddling her thumbs during slow data transfers, and Dad's trying to figure out how to
stay connected to the corporate database, and receive fax and phone calls at the same
time. As a result, the family's dog has become a neglected, lonely fella. Luckily, Digital
Dog, Bell Atlantic's animated wonder pooch, gives the dejected family woof-woof the low
down on ISDN. Taking on the personas of web surfer, professor, line installer, and
magician, Digital Dog provides the details about ISDN's enhanced speed and multiline
capabilities. With a wave his wand, DD transforms the home into a ISDN household, ending
the family's communications woos so they can - you guessed it - spend more time with their
dog.
