The video features historic sites, exclusive shops; highlights convenient Metrorail access to Washington, D.C.; and contrasts a growing hi-tech industry with the county's strong rural and agricultural heritage.

THE VICE PRESIDENT'S OPEN MEETING ON REINVENTING GOVERNMENT— Web Designer/Writer/Producer
WEB SITE ~ Welcome to Vice President Al Gore's inaugural Electronic Internet Open Meeting on Reinventing Government. ByElectronic Open Meeting attending this Internet event, you are demonstrating your interest in helping create a government that works better and costs less.... With this prelude, over 5,000 federal, state, and local government officials came together over the Internet to discuss new ideas and explore better ways to put citizens first and cut bureaucratic red tape. The Open Meeting web site showcased positive stories about government reinvention, provided monitored discussion groups to review NPR actions, and delivered access to the full compliment of NPR reports on reinventing government.

WHAT COOP DIRECTORS DO — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ This documentary features interviews with Farm Coop Directors and members at Coops and farms across the United States. Through their words, the viewer learns about the role, responsibility, and commitment of Coop Directors — and what they do to assure the success of the cooperative.

HOW TO START A COOPERATIVE — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ This instructional video details the key steps involved in forming a cooperative business, be it a farm, seafood, or a craft coop. Two scenarios are presented, using voice-over narrative which supports extensive dialogue between exploratory committee members and ACS development reps pursuing the coop goal.

INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING — Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ IDP, is a process that helps employees analyze their career goals and develop a program to achieve them. It provides a structure to identify training that will sharpen skills needed to perform better in a current job and identify skills needed for career advancement. This informational video uses actors to role play different scenarios that help prepare employees and their supervisors for the IDP process.

FARMER'S HOME ADMINISTRATION COMPUTER SYSTEM — Writer/Director
VIDEO ~ This training video introduces a new microcomputer office system to field staff in 2200 local offices across the U.S. Topics include word-processing, spreadsheet, database management, appointment scheduling, accounting, and interactive mainframe communications. Voice over narration supports dialogue between actors playing the roles of FmHA field reps and local farmers.

FmHA DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR HOUSING — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ This "Night Line" style TV discussion show focuses on revised standards for Federal housing. Building industry participants question a National Spokesperson (all portrayed by professional actors) and exchange views on the new Standards to create a lively training program for Farmer's Home Administration housing officials.

THE WASHINGTON COMPUTER CENTER — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ This "marketing" video is designed to introduce USDA managers to the capabilities of WCC, especially the Center's ability to link office microcomputers to its mainframe for large capacity data storage, analysis, and manipulation.

INSIDE THE WASHINGTON COMPUTER CENTER — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ This information video gives new WCC clients a detailed look at the Center's capabilities, including database management, business graphics, off-the-shelf software, custom software, telecommunications, and applications assistance and training.

FOOD MARKETS: TRANSITION TO THE FUTURE — Scriptwriter
16MM FILM ~ This informational film documents the historical development and modernization of regional food markets across the country. It discusses the role food markets as the primary mechanism for distributing wholesale food stuffs within a geographic area. The film features the Dock Street Market in Philadelphia and the Faneuil Hall Market in Boston as case history examples.

PSEUDORABIES — Scriptwriter
16MM FILM ~ This informational film addresses the debilitating disease of pseudorabies which causes the loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars of livestock yearly. The film traces the disease's origin then goes on to illustrate symptoms, testing methods, vaccine and other prevention measures.

U.S. POSTAL SERVICE

IMAGE PROCESSING SUBSYSTEM — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ Everyday, the Postal Service processes millions of mail pieces at more than 200 General Mail Facilities throughout the United States using an innovative combination of automated systems and well-trained, dedicated personnel. This nine part training series provides new employees with an introduction to bar coding and other technologies used for automatic address scanning and mail sorting.

POSTAL CAREER EXECUTIVE SERVICES SCREENING — Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Two 20 minute scripts designed to brief interviewers on interview formats and typical candidate personality types. Role play sequences, scripted for professional actors, recreate the individual interview and group discussion, allowing candidate qualities to surface for viewer analysis.
Client: the U.S. Postal Service Training Center.

IN-OFFICE COST SAMPLING — Scriptwriter
CBT ~ This 2 computer based training series was the pilot program for the Postal Service's CAI project which will service some 2,200 training sites across the United States. The scripts use extensive test frames and reinforcement branches to teach supervisors sampling techniques to measure worker productivity.

INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE

IRS EMPLOYEE BENEFITS: HEALTH, COUNSELING, CHILD CARE — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ This three part video documentary profiles employee benefit programs designed to keep and attract quality personnel for the IRS. Extensive interviews with program staff and employees are interwoven to illustrate pilot programs now under way.

NATIONAL PARK SERVICE

PARK SERVICE MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ This training video presents an overview of a computerized maintenance management system for our National Parks. Videotaped in Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico, the tape features interaction between the computer system and day-to-day Park maintenance operations.

U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT

COMPUTER ASSISTED POUCH EXCHANGE — Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ Combines live footage of high tech parcel sorting equipment with ADO enhanced Paint Box video animation to create a preview look at the computer automated system being designed to track, manage, and process the growing avalanche of diplomatic bulk mail.

U.S. IMMIGRATION & NATURALIZATION SERVICE

INS COMPUTER SYSTEM — Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Using a docu-drama scenario, this video follows a mother and daughter through the steps required to obtain U.S. citizenship. It also illustrates the due process of deporting an illegal alien. Both cases are monitored and expedited through a new INS field office computer terminal linked to a national database.


FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK

CEBA VIDEO TRAINING COURSE — Writer/Producer
VIDEO ~ This 3 hour video training package was taped at WETA studio's in Washington, DC. It contains several multi-camera panel discussions featuring 6 Federal Home Loan Bank Presidents from around the country, as well as segments featuring professional on-camera trainers supported by extensive PaintBox graphics.
