VIDEO ~ Targeted at Coop managers and employees, this motivational video encourages Wellness Programs for better physical wellbeing and reduced healthcare costs.

ACCEPTING THE CHALLENGE: Case Histories – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ This informational video showcases the experiences of two former disabled employees who returned to full time jobs following rehabilitation efforts on the part of their national association.

MEDICAL CASE MANAGEMENT – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Provides benefit coordinators with an overview of how medical case management can help their employees to a faster recovery from catastrophic accident and illness while containing medical costs and associated insurance premiums.


CHAIR-SIDE TECHNIQUES FOR OSSEOINTEGRATED IMPLANTS – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Designed for a professional dental audience, this training video illustrates techniques for applying titanium implant prosthesis for both partially and fully edentulous patients. An endoscopic lens provides extremely detailed views of placement and adjustment.

SLIDE-AUDIOTAPE ~ This 10 PART SERIES supports the 3rd addition of the well known text book, EMERGENCY CARE by GRANT & MURRAY, published by BRADY. Written at the Emergency Medical Technician level, the programs cover such topics as Pulmonary Resuscitation, CPR, Patient Assessment, Bleeding & Shock, and Water & Ice-Related Accidents.

PEDIATRIC TRAUMA SERIES – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ This 3 part series is designed for pre-hospital paramedical and hospital emergency room personnel. It illustrates medical techniques, team roles, and emergency procedures unique to the management of pediatric trauma patients.

RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTION – Scriptwriter
VIDEO DISC ~ This interactive training program is designed for hospital physicians and nurses to help reduce the incidence of RTI in elderly patients. Reviews risk factors for RTI and CDC statistics on infection rates. The videodisc then presents a series of interactive case studies in which the viewer must apply clinical management skills.

SLIDE-AUDIOTAPE ~ Uses a mix of live action and computer generated graphic slides to illustrate the hazards of lead poisoning to industrial workers. Explains OSHA approved tolerance limits and mandatory safety requirements that must be adhered to by employers.

MANAGING YOUR PEPTIC ULCER – Producer/Director
VIDEO ~ This patient education video reveals the true cause of many ulcers: a bacteria called Heliocobactoer pylori, that lives in the stomach. It also addresses ulcers that result from stomach irritation due to medications. In both cases, stress can play a role in magnifying symptoms. The video recreates two patient case histories that illustrate these causes. Scenes depict work related stress, diet choices, and medication conflicts. Doctor - patient consultation scenes are also included to reinforce management strategies.

ENDOMETRIOSIS - Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ Explains how endometriosis can cause painful symptoms and contribute to infertility. Details available medical and surgical treatments. Uses re-enactments of patient interviews to explain symptoms and urge women to seek medical help and support in coping with this frustrating condition.

TREATING THE ENLARGED PROSTATE – Writer/Director/Producer
VIDEO ~ This patient education program describes the symptoms, surgical treatment,and recovery regime for patients suffering from an enlarged prostate. Using professional actors in roles of patient and spouse, the program features patient-doctor discussions, pre-operative care, animation of the surgical procedure, post-operative care, and home recovery.

16MM FILM ~ Four films designed to help parents understand the early development of their children from 12 months to 3 years. Stresses the measures they should take for the safety and wellbeing of the young child.

STRABISMUS – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Describes the signs and symptoms of this eye disease. Uses complex animation to illustrate the disease process. Employs dramatization to show testing, diagnosis, and treatment.

AMBLYOPIA – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Illustrates the potential debilitating affect of this eye disease in children. Explains testing, diagnostic, and treatment procedures. Uses complex animation to illustrate the disease process and its optical effects on vision.

EDUCATED CHILDBIRTH – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Discusses nutrition, physical conditioning and childbirth training during pregnancy. Special emphasis is given to muscle relaxation, breathing techniques, mental preparation, labor/delivery procedures, and childbirth options such as the birthing room.

ONSET OF LABOR – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Reviews the birthing process from conception to delivery, then describes the events which occur prior to labor and the signs which indicate the actual onset of labor.

D & C (Dilation & Curettage) – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Tells the patient about the diagnostic and therapeutic value of a D&C. Illustrates the anatomy of the womb, D&C techniques, and patient preparation along with post procedural precautions.

HOW TO EXERCISE – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Explains how to start and maintain an aerobic exercise program to improve general wellbeing, strengthen the heart, and reduce weight. Injury prevention is emphasized through the use of a pretraining period and a daily exercise formula.

PROSPECTIVE MEDICINE – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Explains the theory and practice of this innovative approach to preventive medicine. Using dramatizations and conceptual animation, provides the "well" patient with an overview of the health hazard appraisal and the statistical tables used to evaluate "load limits" and 10 year survival rates.

VIDEO ~ Presents the facts about this new venereal disease, including methods of transmission, physical and psychological effects. Uses interviews with actual HERPES victims to illustrate self-help group techniques for coping with this life-long disease.

P.I.D. (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Describes the signs & symptoms of P.I.D. Explains results, including sterility, which can occur if left untreated. Describes medical and surgical treatment.

OSTEOPOROSIS – Scriptwriter / Producer
16MM FILM ~ Describes this degenerative bone disease which strikes elderly female patients and explains preventive measures for younger women who are at risk for the later development of the disease.

OSTEOARTHRITIS AND RUNNING – Scriptwriter
SLIDE-AUDIOTAPE ~ This presentation is designed to update general practitioners on the controversial relationship between osteoarthritis and running injuries. Reviews the stress on the knee joints generated by the running motion. Discusses training techniques which can help reduce repetitive injuries that can lead to joint degeneration.

MACULAR DEGENERATION – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ Explains the process of this eye disease which strikes many midlife and elderly patients. Combines complex animation with macrophotography to illustrate the effect of the disease on the inner eye. Describes diagnostic and treatment procedures.

VIDEO ~ Explains how the disease disrupts proper waste removal in elderly patients. Describes symptoms and dangers if left untreated, and outlines management techniques.

MANAGING CHRONIC CONSTIPATION – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ A patient education film which explains the importance of proper bowel routine for a healthy body. Illustrates the process of waste removal, discusses the two primary types of constipation, and outlines methods of treatment.

UPPER G.I. ENDOSCOPY – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ A patient education film which describes the anatomy and digestive process of the upper G.I. tract, explains common problems to be diagnosed, presents risks and side effects, illustrates the operation of the flexible endoscope and shows exam preparation and procedures.

COLONOSCOPY – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ For patients who are to have an endoscopic exam of their lower digestive tract. Follows the instructional outline given for the UPPER G.I. ENDOSCOPY script.

THE MIDDLE YEARS – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ This 12 minute patient education film describes the physical and emotional changes experienced by women between the ages of 35 and 65. Describes premenopausal symptoms and the relationship between menopause and hormone balance.

HORMONE THERAPY – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ This 12 minute film provides information about hormone therapy to women experiencing short term menopausal symptoms. Also describes use of estrogen and progesterone as long term preventive therapy for those women at risk for osteoporosis.

PREGNANCY & NUTRITION – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ This patient education video illustrates the relationship between proper diet and a healthy pregnancy. It provides guidelines on weight gain, selection of nutritious foods, and daily meal schedules.

REDUCING THE RISKS OF PREECLAMPSIA – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ This video provides patient information on a potentially serious condition which may affect women during the last trimester of pregnancy. It explains the significance of high blood pressure, illustrates other warning signs, and outlines treatment measures.

MEDIFAST – Scriptwriter
VIDEO ~ This patient marketing and information program describes the MEDIFAST system of physician supervised weight reduction. The program explains the physiology of weight gain and weight loss, then illustrates various treatment paths for patients in the MEDIFAST program. The program stresses proper nutrition and exercise as keys to successful weight reduction and life-long weight maintenance.
