Structurally, the interior is better than new with rebuilt bulkheads, deck support beam, mast compression posts and white perforated vinyl headliner headliner. When the old cushions died we saved the coverings for use as patterns, so cushions are not included. The interior could use a fresh coat of varnish to brighten it up, though it still shows well in the photos below.  The cabin sole is light grey fiberglass with embossed wood grain. Outdoor carpeting makes an excellent covering. The fascia surrounding the cabin windows is covered in textured vinyl. The lower panels require some epoxy to re-secure them to the cabin sides. See Plans for layout schematic.

Looking Forward

The main cabin features a large quarter birth to port followed by galley with facing setee to starboard. Forward is a hanging locker to port, head area to starboard followed by a v-birth.

Galley

The port side galley includes two-burner alchohol stove, sink with hand pump and icebox. There is shelf storage on the side and a cabinet door to under sink storage. Sink and icebox drain through upgraded hoses and brass lever action marine seacock.

Starboard Setee

The starboard setee features a dinette table that forms a double birth. Storage includes two draws in the forward setee, two fold down doors along the bottom, and a battery storage are under the rear setee with DC electric panel.

Water Level View

When seated at the setee, two starboard side windows provide a water view.

Forward Bulkheads

The main saloon overhead, forward bulkheads, main support beam, and mast compression posts have all been replaced giving the vessel a solid cabin and deck structure.

Mast Compression Posts

The two vertical posts flanking the forward passageway are actually compression posts for the deck-stepped mast.

The Head

We replaced and sealed off the marine head sometime ago and replaced it with a porta-potti. The head area includes a shelf and two storage draws.

V-Birth

The forward cabin is a double v-birth comfortable for two normal-sized adults. A hatch opens to the deck and there are two small sliding ports for ventilation.

Looking Aft

Looking aft you can see the port side hanging locker, galley and quarterbirth.
